Julinda Caldwell LeDee serves as an inspirational leader in higher education.
From humble beginnings in the San José foster youth system to earning a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of San Francisco, Ms. LeDee’s high standard for achievement models resilience and possibility for those she serves.
As a passionate and sought-after public speaker, author and spoken-word poet, her charisma and authenticity strongly connects with audiences.
Now an Academic Services Analyst with San José City College, Ms. LeDee led the creation of the San José City College Classified Senate, where she served as President, while supporting the regional and state-level work of the California Community Colleges Classified Senate.
As an educator, Ms. LeDee especially enjoys serving Language Arts students, where she creates supportive environments enriched by wrap-around support services and resources. Her one-on one engagements with students embody her practice of empathy and encouragement.
Prior to earning her MPA, Ms. LeDee earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in African American Studies from San José State University.
She is a member of the District Council of the San José Evergreen Community College District (SJECCD) where she embodies the SJECCD values of opportunity, equity and social justice.
