Overcoming Adversity-

Adversity is an unfortunate event or incident; which can cause Discouragement - depression and more.

We all have strengths and weakness. What is your strength? It takes more than one theory to make the world go around. What's your theory? Let’s keep it real; do you want to change? Know who you are, so you can overcome your adversity.

Life Challenges-

How to overcome obstacles? Reach out to those who can help and want to help. We all need support. The world was created that all things work together. We all need support. The law of life is set up that way. A plant needs the sun, rain and winds to grow. Why the winds? The wind is needed to blow the dead leaves and unneeded debris away. Life is the same. 

Family-

Traditional/nontraditional - As a child we are lead by family and friends values. The elders can only pass along the skills that their parents gave to them and their parents gave them. What was given in the home may have not been the best for you, but it brought you here today.

Challenges: Money, abandonment, abuse, drugs, alcoholism, and just simple neglect.  

For some family can be your worst enemy. You have to create your own family or network of friends, colleagues and sometimes strangers.

Education-

A powerful impact can change your life. (Sink or Swim) or (Struggle or Bask in the sun) meaning to flourish or feel secure under some benevolent influence or favorable condition)

Facts are your guidance. Knowledge is Power. Follow the rules. There are rules to every engagement. Find out what they are, so you can get ahead. Sometimes when we skip things it causes us to fall back. My grandma says, "We must crawl before we walk".

Some think we know it all because we don't like the way the others are doing it. But, do you have the tools to do the job right? Just because you play basketball doesn't mean you can play for the NBA.

Hope-

Believe in yourself- Believe in something. There is a higher power. We don't have to agree on the higher power because that is a personal thing. And we know some things are best kept personal. Most beliefs have the same basic principals; integrity, respect, ethical and moral values of some kind. 

 

Love-

Love does concur all. (Love is an emotion for physical or personal attachment. Kindness and compassion can make life better.

We make better choices out of love and not selflessness or pity. Who wants to be a charity case? Do you?

Love yourself. You are number one. When you make good choices for yourself you can only then help those around you. Self esteem is a big issue today. According to the media everyone has room for improvement, but being different is good. I'm confused; and that is why your self esteem is important. Know who you are and do what’s best for you. 

Haters-

If you have haters on your team that means you are doing something right. Keep doing good and loving you.

My Younger Brother

My younger brother has attempted to take his life
He does not know how to love himself
He feels alone despite.....
